ABOUT MIDDLE STREET SYNAGOGUE
The significance of Middle Street Synagogue cannot be overstated. Designed by local architect Thomas Lainson, who surveyed for the Goldsmid family's Wick Estate, it was opened in 1875. Middle Street was soon enhanced by numerous catalogued donations from prominent Jewish families.
Currently, Middle Street synagogue is closed to the public and we do not offer public tours. If you would like to arrange to see Middle Street Synagogue, please make sure you read the Access Policy.
