DONATIONS & DEDICATIONS

We express our sincere gratitude to those members of our congregation and Jewish community who have made such significant donations to enrich and enlighten our shul.

Such dedications have been made in memory of family, and they are warmly and respectfully received.

The new Ner Tamid hangs in front of the commandments.

NER TAMID

donated by the Vechts, to coincide with 1st anniversary of 7/10 Hamas massacre, and shown here in front of the 10 Commandments

The Ner Tamid was donated by

Dr Romeo J Vecht and Noemi Vecht (née Bollag, of Blessed Memory) in memory of their parents Philip Sydney & Hetty Vecht and Solomon & Selma Bollag.

The origins of the Ner Tamid come from Parshat Tzav where we are commanded to keep an Aish Tamid, or eternal fire, on the altar never to be extinguished.

MENORAH

donated by Sefton Cohen, and shown here on the final night of Chanukah 2024/5784

Sefton Cohen donated this elegant menorah in memory of his wife, Raisel Chanah bas Leib, of Blessed Memory.

The menorah was sourced from an American company that specialises in modern Judaica.
