Services and Times

Unless otherwise stated, all services are held at our synagogue at Brighton & Hove Hebrew Congregation, 29a New Church Rd, Hove. BN3 4AD.

​

Shacharis - Services are now held on Sunday at 8.30 am and on Mondays to Friday at 7.30 am. The service is followed by light refreshments. Sunday service is followed by a Pirkei Avos shiur and a Mishnah shiur on Mondays with a Parsha shiur on Thursdays.

Mincha - Weekday services from March 17 2024 will now be held Sunday to Friday at 7:00 PM.

Erev Shabbat - Friday night services vary until the summer. Times are announced via email and WhatsApp as well as on this website.

 

The Summer Timetable for Friday night services is now in operation.  The time for candle lighting and Kabbalat Shabbat varies through out the Autumn/Winter/Spring period. These times together with those of Mincha/Maariv becomes earlier until mid-December and then slowly become later. Times are usually posted on the Home page of this website and distributed via email/WhatsApp, contact the Shul office to confirm times.

Shabbat - Morning services are held at 9:30 am. Mincha services are followed by  a Seudah Sh'lishit, Maariv and Havdalah. The times vary throughout the year and appear on our  calendar and times are sent out via WhatsApp and email.

NEW from Shabbat - Ki Thetzei onward there will be a Children's service at BHHC. This will be at 11:00 am

Special services such as Chagim, levayas, stone settings or minyanim for for those sitting shivah will also be communicated via WhatsApp and email and appear on the calendar.
