​​New Ner Tamid​

As we reflect on the dark times of recent years, symbolic of our hope that the coming year will be a better one, filled with peace, health and happiness for us all, we celebrate the gift of a Ner Tamid which was donated on October 7th 2024, the first anniversary of the Hamas Pogrom.

 

The Ner Tamid was donated by Dr Romeo J and Noemi Vecht in memory of their parents Philip Sydney & Hetty Vecht and Solomon & Selma Bollag. The origins of the Ner Tamid come from Parshat Tzav where we are commanded to keep an Aish Tamid or eternal fire on the altar never to be extinguished.​
